Emily Krouse is a licensed clinical professional counselor with Lake Cook Behavioral Health in Naperville. She
holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Duquesne University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree
in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Marquette University.

Emily has experience working with individuals as well as families and couples. Her clients’ ages
range from adolescents starting at age 9 to older adulthood. Emily’s clients often deal with issues
related to varying levels of anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. She also has
experience with relationship conflicts as well as life transitions.

Emily believes that every client is unique and tailors her approach to each individual. She uses
modalities such as CBT and mindfulness techniques. She works to create a safe space that allows
clients to feel seen and understood throughout the process of counseling.
In her free time, Emily enjoys walking her dog, watching movies, and spending time with
friends.
