Career Opportunities and Lake Cook Behavioral Health

Lake Cook Behavioral Health is a group private practice with offices located in Arlington Heights, Northbrook, Evanston, and Inverness IL. We are looking to place a part-time to full-time, psychotherapist, therapist, counselor, social worker, or psychologist to join our team. We provide a generous payment and healthcare benefits. Lake Cook Behavioral Health provides individual and group clinical support. This position can be worked via telehealth based upon client need, and caseload needs.
We are primarily seeking therapists for our Northbrook, Evanston, and Inverness locations, though qualified candidates would be considered at other locations. A minimum of two years experience in individual psychotherapy is preferred. Experience in specialty areas such as children/adolescents, eating disorders, EMDR, or other specialty area will be greatly valued. Candidates with existing clients will receive a hiring bonus.
  • Candidate must have an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), PhD (Psychologist), PsyD (Psychologist), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or equivalent license and degree.
  • Provide assessment, treatment planning, and therapy for individuals, couples, and/or families.
  • Be responsible for the clinical documentation of sessions and assessments utilizing the record management system.
  • Maintain caseload including scheduling, follow up, and direct client communication.
  • Cooperate and provide documentation for appropriate outside referral sources and third party payors as needed.
  • Participate in group or individual clinical supervision as necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education in order to maintain license in service of clients.
  • Ability to work independently, while supported by administrative and clinical team.
