Colleen Middendorf, LCPC

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or simply sensing that something's missing, I can help you reconnect and find your way to a more serene and satisfying life. Occasionally, people are well-aware of how their suffering has emerged, but often the cause is unclear. My aim is to partner with my clients to help them understand themselves and confront any life-limiting beliefs. From there, we can facilitate changes that will bring relief and build a positive sense of self, which in turn, will enrich your relationships and your life.

I am experienced in working with an array of emotional struggles including depression, anger, anxiety, eating disorders, self injury, childhood trauma, impulse control issues, addictions and grief. I utilize a person-centered, mindfulness-based approach and incorporate cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and reality therapies into my practice.

I am a Licensed Counselor (LCPC), with my master's degree in human services/counseling and my bachelors degree in therapeutic recreation.  With my knowledge, experience and my respect for the mind-body connection, I am equipped to help people re-discover and re-create themselves. Together, we can develop a wide range of options and self-supporting skills to navigate life's challenges and improve your quality of life.
